What is a synthetic?
A synthetic object is something resulting from synthesis rather than occurring naturally. Our Synthetic books are just that — printed content that was generated and synthesized by a human prompter.
Do humans write your books?
Humans do write some of our print and ebook content, which we refer to as naturals. While not required, we prefer making fiction with humans. Also humans edit and publish our natural and synthetic content. Through prompting, a human creates and refines AI-generated content used in our publications.
Why do you use AI tools?
AI tools offer a huge amount of advantages and simplify work that was once very complicated. New technology is often a competitive advantage and we believe that AI can be leveraged ethically and in ways that can be hugely beneficial for humans.
